In addition to the tireless efforts (okay, that’s a lie, we get tired) of the Pirates who organize the event, and the many volunteers who give their time and energy, without the help of the following companies and individuals your voyage would be less satisfying.

Thank these people if you see them, visit their businesses, and embellish your tales with blatant exaggerations of their virtues.

SchillingBridge Cork and Tap House

SchillingBridge Cork and Tap House

575 Fallbrook Blvd. Suite 109 in Lincoln, Nebraska 68521

A remarkable sense of place, dedicated to bringing together guests by providing a diverse portfolio of hand-crafted beer and wine, signature cocktails, and an innovative wine and beer infused menu in a relaxed atmosphere.

SchillingBridge [shi-ling-bridge (noun)] is an innovative craft beer and wine inspired gastropub! Building on the SchillingBridge brand established in 2005, SchillingBridge Cork & Tap House is a unique destination that straddles the lines between bar and restaurant and brewery and tasting room. We feature our own house brands of craft beer along with the award-winning handcrafted wines produced at SchillingBridge Winery in Pawnee City, Nebraska. The signature cocktail offerings represent a creative fusion of classic libations using premium spirits and hand-squeezed fruit juices with the SchillingBridge brands of wine, craft beer, margarita cocktail mix, sour mix, and of course, Kelly’s homemade root beer. A small selection of craft beers and wine produced outside our region will also be available.

The food menu was designed around our SchillingBridge beverage products infusing them in creative and imaginative ways. Our recipes blend European flavors with modern day flavor profiles resulting in the old world fusing with the new world similarly like the grape varietals located at the SchillingBridge estate vineyard. This diverse menu along with our creative weekly features will entice you to become a frequent guest.

Our patio with its mesmerizing fire table, stone fire pits, and beautiful brick pizza oven offers a stunning ambiance unparalleled anywhere else. This outdoor social space invites our guests to gather their neighbors and friends to kick back and let the worries of the day melt away in the most perfect possible way – taking in the beauty of Fallbrook and gazing out at the exquisite view into Lincoln.

Cycle Works

Cycle Works

720 North 27th Street, Lincoln, NE 68503

Cycle Works was started in the summer of 1981 with 5 bikes and $300 in accessories in the shell of a former car wash. Since then we have expanded to our present location across the street with more than 1000 bikes and a few more parts and accessories. We have been able to grow by following one principle, “Quality, Service and Selection is Everything!”. We maintain a large inventory of bikes, parts, accessories and clothing so that we may keep our customers cycling no matter what type of riding, season or problem they may encounter.

Voler

Voler

Voler was founded in 1986 in San Luis Obispo, California. What began as a small operation producing windsurfing bags and cycling helmet covers quickly morphed into creating top-notch custom cycling apparel for teams, events, and other cycling brands. By 1996 Voler moved to Grover Beach (15 minutes south of SLO) and ramped up production in a much larger facility. We added on to the facility in 1999 and started the Voler online Store (previously Velowear) selling our non-customized branded apparel direct to consumer.

Our Pirate Cycling League Gear has come from them for the past few years; and they have produced each and every Gravel Worlds winners jersey we have awarded.

Panaracer

Panaracer

Panaracer Tires is pleased to support Gravel Worlds with the GravelKing range of tires. Panaracer Tires was early an innovator in the gravel scene, and the GravelKing range is now known as the go-to option for mixed surface riding and racing. Competitors can choose between our GravelKing and GravelKing SK options. The SK, with more pronounced tread pattern and fast rolling shoulder knobs will give the most traction, but the slicker GravelKing will be the faster choice. Coming in a range of sizes from 23c-32c (GravelKing) and 26c-40c (GravelKing SK), Gravel Worlds competitors will find the right tire for their race with Panaracer.

Chamois Butt’r

Chamois Butt’r

Chamois Butt’r was developed in 1988 by physical therapist and cyclist Steve Mathews, in collaboration with pro cyclists, physicians and chemists. Since then, Chamois Butt’r® has continued to evolve and is now available in most US bicycle retailers and is distributed internationally.

Chamois Butt’r® Original, Chamois Butt’r® Eurostyle™ and Chamois Butt’r® Her’® are non-greasy skin lubricants developed to improve riding comfort. Both products prevent the uncomfortable rubbing and chafing many cyclists experience while riding. Chamois Butt’r® products easily wash off skin and out of shorts with soap and water, and are gentle on even the most delicate skin and clothing.

We use only the highest quality ingredients to ensure that our products are easy on your skin. All Chamois Butt’r® products are paraben free, gluten free and contain no artificial colors or fragrances. Chamois Butt’r® products are produced in a state of the art facility, with strict quality assurance, adhering to the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. No animal testing is used for our products.

We listen attentively to our sponsored teams, riders and customers, and appreciate suggestions. In fact, rider input has led directly to the development of many new products in our line-up including eurostyle Embrocations, eurostyle Sports Skin Wash, eurostyle Sports Kit Wash and the first ever pH balanced chamois cream for women Her’™ Chamois Butt’r®.

After law school, she accepted two consecutive judicial clerkships; one in Jackson County Circuit Court in Kansas City, MO and one in Jefferson County District Court in Golden, CO. In addition to representing her own clients, she has been endorsed as a cycling expert by other lawyers. She is known by Colorado cyclists as well as her fellow attorneys as THE go-to lawyer for anything cycling-related. She handles cases in all 50 states, and is licensed in Missouri, Colorado, and Arizona. Gu

We are a company of athletes. And we know that there will always be world records to destroy, hairier mountain trails to conquer, and personal demons to slay. Whether it’s with long-lasting energy, muscle-rebuilding fuel and protection, or natural hydration in a gel, powder, drink, capsule, or some other form we haven’t invented yet, we are committed to helping propel you to the next level.

From 1993 until today, athletes the world over have come to the same conclusion: GU works. Our Berkeley-based sports nutrition company started with our original GU Energy Gel, a revolutionary and more effective method to keep athletes fueled during exercise. Since then, GU has continued to improve the recipe, incorporating the latest scientific research into its products. In 2001, GU Electrolyte Brew (formerly Gu2o) was launched as the perfect hydration companion to GU Energy Gel. 2008 saw the introduction of Roctane Ultra Endurance Energy Gel, followed by Chomps Energy Chews and GU Recovery Brew in 2009. Every product is formulated to further GU’s mission: to help athletes go faster and longer than ever before.

Redshift Sports

Redshift Sports was founded in 2013 by Stephen, Erik, and Scott with the goal of making components that help cyclists and triathletes ride further, faster, and more comfortably on the bikes they already own. We are a small group of mechanical engineers who happen to be avid (if somewhat average) cyclists and triathletes.

Prior to founding Redshift Sports, we managed (and still manage) Ripple Design LLC, an engineering consulting and product design firm in Philadelphia. Ripple Design works on a wide range of products, from medical devices to large-scale landmine clearance equipment. We drew on this extensive design, prototyping and manufacturing experience to bring our first product – the Switch Aero System – to market.
